RFU Sevens hits Sixways this Saturday

The RFU Sevens Midlands Regional Play-offs and Round Three of the Super Sevens Series come to Sixways this Saturday 1 July, where over 500 players will compete across four tournaments at the home of Worcester Warriors. 

The IPRO Super Sevens series kicks off on the main Sixways Stadium pitch at 10am as 12 teams battle it out including specialist Sevens sides the Samurai Sevens, Esher, J9 Bears, Jesters, Jamaica, Wailers, Wolfhounds Exiles, Marauders, The Army and Apache. 

All access to the stadium is via the North Stand gate from 9.30am while spectators will be able to sit in the West Stand. 

The Clubhouse Bar will be open from 7.30am till 7.30pm on a cash basis where the British & Irish Lions game vs New Zealand will be screened. There will also be a food concession stand in the North West corner of the stadium from 11am till 6.30pm. 

Meanwhile the Midlands Regional Sevens take place on the A&H Pitch in the Men’s Level One series while the Women’s Level One series is on the elite training pitch. There will also be a Men’s Social series taking place on the 3G training pitch. These three tournaments will start at 12.15pm.

The games will be seven-minute halves except for finals matches which will be ten-minute halves. 

Entry on Saturday is FREE for all while on-site car parking is also FREE.
