Director of Rugby Alan Solomons spoke to the press today ahead of Warriors’ clash with Bath Rugby at Sixways on Friday (kick-off 7.45pm).
Here’s what he had to say:
- Saracens was a difficult test but it was some feat to be the first team to score four tries against them in the league this season.
- The first-half we played well but they got on top of us in the second period with their excellent kicking game.
- Sam Olver, Gareth Milasinovich and Darren Barry stepped up well.
- There will be pace and tempo in Friday night’s match against Bath and it will be a physical encounter.
- The squad will be largely unchanged.
- Will Spencer should be fit for Friday’s game.
- Nick Schonert is out for approximately six weeks with an ankle injury.
- Jono Lance has returned to Australia while he recovers from a broken hand.
- Ben Te’o is due to come back from injury in January.
