As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting people who live in isolation, we are also training our staff including matchday staff to become Dementia Friends and Champions.
Our mission is to make Sixways a place of safety and security for people living with dementia and breakdown the barriers that prevent this sector of our community from accessing our Club.
We have already made some adjustments and staff training is well underway.
Carol Hart, Head of The Warriors Community Foundation said: "we are committed to ensuring that Sixways Stadium is accessible to all sectors of our community. Members of the Foundation Team are already qualified Dementia Champions and Educators."
If anyone would like to join one of our education sessions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. There is no charge involved in becoming a Dementia friend, it just take an hour of your time.
