Akina joined Warriors Women in September 2017 as part of the partnership between Warriors Women and the University of Worcester.
She started playing rugby at Beckenham RFC U15’s and then moved to Beccehamians RFC for U18s before returning to Beckenham RFC to finish U18s and play senior rugby a year early.
Gondwe has nine caps for the England Under-20s, helping the development side to consecutive Tri-Nations Cups titles in 2018 and 2019.
The prop scored her first try for Warriors against Richmond in October 2019 and is currently in her final year at the University of Worcester studying Human Geography (BA Hons).
