Lutui makes Warriors debut against Tykes

Aleki Lutui pulls on a Warriors shirt for the first time tonight when Leeds Tykes visit Sixways for a Guinness A League match.

The Tongan hooker arrived from Bay of Plenty, last week, and is looking forward to making his debut in a starting Warriors line-up that includes seven first-team squad players.
“I don’t think playing in England will be much different from playing at home. We also play when it’s raining,” he says. “One of my strengths is playing with ball in hands, not only that but set pieces, scrummaging and lineouts.”
The 31-year-old will start in a team that will be captained, again, by centre Gary Trueman. He’ll be partnered in midfield by Miguel Avramovich, with James Brown at fly-half, Mark Tucker and Uche Oduoza on the wings, Tim Collier in the second row and Gavin Quinnell at Number 8. The match kicks off at 7.30pm.

Team: 01 Matt Mullan, 02 Aleki Lutui, 03 Callum Black, 04 Tim Collier, 05 Will Bowley, 06 Craig Everett, 07 Matt Cox, 08 Gavin Quinnell, 09 Johnny Arr, 10 James Brown, 11 Uche Oduoza, 12 Gary Trueman (c), 13 Miguel Avramovic, 14 Mark Tucker, 15 Chris Pennell.
