Countdown to our summer of touch

Players gearing up for the annual summer touch rugby competition at Sixways, the home of the Warriors, can get a first taste of action this Sunday (May 13).

Warriors are urging supporters to get in the thick of the rugby action this summer with our fantastic six-a-side league running over eight weeks and open to all age groups.

And this Sunday we have our first free ‘Try Out’ day at Sixways from 1pm until 5pm. The day is open to teams, who want to have some trails and learn the rules, or individuals to come along and find a team. We will be running a second ‘Try Out’ day on Thursday, May 17 from 7pm until 9pm.

The big kick-off for the summer touch rugby competition will be Thursday, May 24 and then every Thursday evening afterwards for eight weeks. We are running separate men’s competition and mixed tournament.

A number of teams have already signed up to socialise, team-build and compete in this non-contact sport for all ages and abilities so don’t miss out and book your place today.

The membership and registration fee for a season is £300 per team which means for a minimum of ten players per team, that’s only £30 per head.

This is the perfect chance for you to battle against your rivals in a fun, friendly, and safe environment and stand out as Warriors Summer of Touch champions, with the opportunity to perform in the national final at Twickenham Stadium during the Middlesex Sevens on August 18 and win £5,000 worth of Gilbert kit.

So fill the empty rugby void before the World Cup and start the new Guinness Premiership season by becoming a star yourself through the biggest and best leagues in the country through Premiership touch rugby.
