Warriors reveal pre-season plans

Warriors face a double header against London Irish at Sixways as part of the countdown to the new Guinness Premiership season – Be a part of it!

Warriors have revealed three pre-season dates as they club bids to launch a new chapter under the leadership of Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock.

And preparations conclude with the Warriors first team and Academy playing back-to-back games on home soil on Saturday, September 1.

The team will be in competitive action for the very first time under Ruddock when they take part in the prestigious Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham on August 18. The new Director of Rugby at Sixways has already indicated he will take a strong side to the capital for the competition.

A trip to Plymouth Albion will then take place seven days later on August 25 (kick-off 3pm). Graham Dawe’s men impressed last season to finish sixth in National Division One and are certain to prove a stern test at their Brickfields home.

Warriors complete the triple header of pre-season games with a feast of rugby at new-look Sixways on September 1. Supporters will get to see the stars of the future in action first up when the Warriors Academy tackle London Irish Academy on the stadium pitch. And when the dust has settled the Warriors first team will tackle the Exiles in what is sure to be a thrilling encounter.

Kick off times for the London Irish double header at home are yet to be confirmed and the very latest news will be posted on www.wrfc.co.uk Tickets for the Irish clash will be available from August 1, priced at £10 per adult and £5 per junior; season ticket and debenture holders will gain admission through their seasonal packages.
