Feaunati handed Kingsholm start

Last action hero Dominic Feaunati is rewarded for his try-scoring exploits against London Wasps with a starting spot in the derby clash with Gloucester Rugby at Kingsholm on Saturday (kick off 6pm).

Samoan international Feaunati scored a stunning late try to help Warriors earn their first points of the season against European champions Wasps last weekend.

And now Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock has handed him the inside centre spot in place of Mark Tucker for the televised trip to the home of the Cherry and Whites.

Ruddock makes three changes in total to his starting line-up with Ryan Powell named at scrum half with namesake Matt moving to the replacements bench.

Back row star Drew Hickey also returns after injury at flanker in place of Tom Wood.

“We are all looking forward to it and it should be a fantastic game,” said Ruddock.

“Kingsholm is a tough place to go, but if we are serious about becoming a real team we have to go down there, present ourselves and put in a great performance.”
