Garvey returns for North Wales trip

Wing Marcel Garvey will make his comeback from injury this evening (Wednesday) as Warriors travel to face North Wales outfit Gogledd Cymru in Wrexham (kick-off 7.30pm).

Speedster Garvey has been ruled out of action with a muscle strain but will make a return to competitive rugby in the development game at Bryn Estyn Lane.

First team stars Phil Murphy, who is named as skipper, and Tim Collier will make up the locks while Gavin Quinnell will feature in the back row.

Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock said: “We are sending a strong side up to North Wales and it is important for us to do that because the best way for us to develop some of our young players is to put a host of more senior experienced players around them and help them through games.”

Supporters are reminded that the game will take place in Wrexham NOT Welshpool as previously advertised.
