Crichton ruled out of Sharks clash

Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock has confirmed that fly half Loki Crichton will miss the Guinness Premiership match away at Sale Sharks on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

Samoan international back Crichton sustained a heavy blow towards the end of the top-flight clash with London Irish last Friday and has now been ruled out of the game with a stinger injury.

Ruddock also revealed that centre Dale Ramussen is a doubt with a hip/leg injury but New Zealand wing Rico Gear is expected to be fit after being rested from training in the early stages of this week.

Front row Darren Morris will undergo fitness tests to see if he can make his comeback after a stinger but fellow prop Chris Horsman is again not expected to feature as he makes his return to full fitness.
