Sixways Stadium ready for international rugby

Warriors boss Mike Ruddock has revealed he will be among the interested spectators when England U18s and Wales U18s clash at Sixways Stadium on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

Sixways Stadium welcomes the cream of young sporting talent from both countries for the U18 Six Nations clash at the home of the Warriors.

Former Wales boss Ruddock, who led his country to Grand Slam glory in 2005, admits he is expecting a thrilling game and a real contrast in styles.

“It should be a fantastic game of exciting rugby today with a huge amount of talent on both sides,” he said.

“The team is very strong for their age group and they recently got a very good result over France. I would expect the England team to also be stacked full of talent with the strength of the academies we have in this country. They will be looking to utilise the forward power to try and dominate the Welsh players.

“It will be a contrast in styles but is a game I am really looking forward too. It is also fantastic for Worcester as a club that we welcome international rugby to Sixways and we would like to wish both teams the best of luck.”

Tickets to watch the England international at Sixways remain on general sale from the Warriors Ticket Office.

Admission is priced at £10 for adults (£12 on the day) and £5 for juniors (£6 on the day). Limited on-site parking will also be available for £5 and must be purchased in advance.

Hospitality packages will also be available for the international. For more information call the Sales department on 01905 459354.
