Warriors supported the Warwick School Invitational 7’s this week, with representatives from their Community, Academy and Senior teams eagerly backing the well attended and run event at Warwick School – a Worcester Warriors Academy satellite centre.
Warriors Community Coach Simon Lane, supported by community partner npower, was joined in Warwick by full time Warriors Academy stars in the morning to referee the opening exchanges. Mike Penn and Tom Wheatcroft notably stood out with their outstanding refereeing performances. Also in attendance was 7’s speedster Uche Oduoza, you had recently returned from England 7’s duty, joined for the day by promising fly-half Joe Carlisle to present the winners with their awards – the eventual winners being The Downs School, Bristol.
