Past, present and future prop stars from Worcester Warriors were all on hand to help deliver a Premier Rugby Academy camp run at Telford Hornets RFC.
Front row ace and Wales international Chris Horsman and former first team star Lee Fortey passed on their knowledge of the game to a large group of talented young rugby players at the camp, largely supported by the Hornets junior section.
Also joining Horsman and Fortey at the camp was young Warriors starlet Tom Williams, who has come through the Telford Junior ranks and is currently training with Warriors Elite Player Development Group at Sixways Stadium. He has played England Under-16s this year and is hoping to achieve his dream of one day packing down for the first team at Warriors.
“The camp was a huge success,” said Simon Lane, Warriors Community Coach. “The club committee at Telford have been fantastic, as have the players and parents. There is a huge crop of talented rugby players coming through and we are looking forward to working with Telford Hornets again in the near future.”
