Warriors delight at Season Ticket sales

Worcester Warriors are delighted to announce that Season Ticket sales are rocketing with the clock ticking down to the start of the new 2008/09 Guinness Premiership campaign.

The Sixways Stadium club has witnessed a real summer surge in interest for Season Ticket and Debenture packages ahead of the new season that will feature new players such as Chris Latham, Hal Luscombe, Matthew Jones and Ben Jones.

Season Ticket renewals and new applications have now crashed through the 5,000 barrier with just over a month until the first home game with Leicester Tigers on Saturday, September 20.

The club has also revealed that Debentures packages in the new £8million East Stand have proved a huge hit with all of them sold in just three weeks.

“We’re delighted at the real sense of anticipation that is building ahead of the new season with what we firmly believe is the best ever squad assembled at Warriors,” said General Manager Charlie Little.

“The coaching set-up at Warriors is now established and has had a full season of Guinness Premiership rugby behind it. They have learnt what is needed to win in this league and the importance of our home fixtures.

“With the new development of the new East Stand, the club is now making a real statement of intent both on and off the pitch. We are a club with a clear vision and so are delighted by the uptake of Season Ticket and Debentures.

“Having spoken to my colleagues at other Guinness Premiership clubs I know not everyone will be in such a healthy position and therefore it is yet another example of what great supporters we have right behind the team and the club.

“There are still Season Ticket and Debenture packages available, guaranteeing you a place at 11 Guinness Premiership, three European Challenge Cup and two EDF Energy Cup games. The saving on purchasing a Season Ticket is such that you get the equivalent of four games free and it is the only way to guarantee your seat for every second of the action.”
