Do you know the new laws that take effect this season? If not, Warriors are hosting a special event so you can get up to speed ahead of the new Guinness Premiership season!
The IRB’s New Experimental Law Variations (ELVs) will take effect in the Northern hemisphere this season. Three or four of these new law changes should have a significant impact on the game, and the way it is played, so it is key that everyone involved, including the spectators understand them fully as soon as possible.
To help you fully understand the new laws the Warriors are hosting ‘New Rugby Laws Explained’ at Sixways Stadium on Tuesday, September 2 starting at 7pm.
The new laws will be explained and compared to the old laws using of power point presentations and DVD clips. The 13 changes will be covered one law at a time, allowing for open discussion on the implications they might have for the players, referees and the general pattern of the game.
It is expected this special seminar will run for approximately two and a half hours, including a comfort break, starting at 7.30pm and ending no later than 10.30pm.
The bar will be open on the night and the evening will also include chilli and rice for just £5 per head.
