Worcester Warriors have made a late change for today’s Guinness Premiership match with London Wasps after scrum half Matt Powell celebrated becoming a father early this morning.
Powell left the team hotel to join his wife Anita after she went into labor and the happy couple welcomed baby boy Milo James Powell into the world at 7.16am this morning. Milo weighed 8lb and 1oz and mother and baby – plus a tired father – are all doing well.
Ryan Powell comes into the team at number nine for Matt Powell with Ben Jones, a summer signing from Doncaster Knights, stepping up to the replacements bench.
