Warriors will set new crowd record

Worcester Warriors have confirmed that a record attendance will watch a Guinness Premiership match at Sixways Stadium when Leicester Tigers visit on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) – and urged fans to act quick to snap up the remaining tickets.

Warriors will open the new Slick Systems Stand for the first time at the game after the spectacular £8million development was built during the summer months.

New-look Sixways Stadium will be open to supporters for the very first time this season after Warriors played their opening two games in the league away from home.

Fans have responded to the chance to be part of an historic day at Warriors by flocking to the Sixways Box Office to snap up tickets – with nearly 2,000 tickets sold in the last week.

The club can now confirm that the previous record capacity of 10,193 has been eclipsed ahead of the game with over 10,500 tickets now sold for the arrival of our Midlands neighbours.

The last few hundred tickets are now on sale, with the stadium holding a reduced capacity until all corporate areas and surrounding areas are complete in the new Slick Systems Stand, and fans are urged to act quickly to avoid any disappointment.

Tickets remain on sale today from the Sixways Box Office on 01905 454183 or online at www.warriors.co.uk until midnight.

Fans can also visit the Sixways Box Office today in person until 4.30pm to snap up tickets to the big game.
