Modus Challenge Cup ready for kick off

Worcester Warriors are pleased announce that their creative partner Modus Creative are to sponsor the Challenge Cup between King’s School and RGSAO for the second year running. This prestigious annual match is set to strike Sixways for 2008 on Wednesday, November 26 (kick off 7.30pm).

This historic inaugural event has always been a huge night on both schools diary. Last year’s match was a great success and this year with the new Slick Systems Stand holding a capacity of 6,000 seats, the atmosphere is clearly going to ignite.

Roger Marshall, Modus Managing Director, announced: “Modus Creative are once again delighted to be sponsoring the King’s versus RGSAO annual rugby match with the second year of the Modus Challenge Cup. The fiercely contested battle last year was a very enjoyable game with fantastic support from both camps.”

“The support from Warriors in terms of hosting the Modus Challenge Cup has been fantastic; to be able to play on a premiership pitch in such a hotly contested competition must be a great stepping stone for these promising youngsters and for Modus it is a privilege to be able to support and continue to sponsor this exciting game.”

“As official creative partner to Warriors it seemed natural last year to support and sponsor this great game, and this year it is a pleasure to continue the Modus Challenge Cup as it becomes a regular rugby fixture.”

RGS Worcester and Alice Ottley School were last year’s trophy winners and it’s a no brainer that the King’s School will be hungry for victory for 2008. The match itself is open to the public and is great a opportunity to see a competitive game of rugby played by two of the finest rugby playing schools in Worcester.

Guy Marson, Modus Marketing Director, added: “We are really looking forwards to another great, challenging game of rugby between these determined sides and we hope the rugby is as exciting and the game as well supported as is was last year.”
