King’s in Modus Cup Glory!

The Modus Challenge Cup took place at Sixways Stadium on Wednesday evening between King’s School Worcester and RGSAO Worcester. The game finished 21-7 to King’s School in a thrilling game watched by 3,000 supporters at the home of the Warriors.

The teams were lead out onto the pitch by their captains Liam Gwynne (King’s) and Nat MacDonald (RGSAO) in front of a roaring crowd at Sixways. The night was highly successfully evening, both teams put in impressive displays but it was the King’s School who held the edge during this year’s annual event.

King’s took the lead and finished 13-0 up at half time. RGSAO came back in the second half but failed to tame the boy’s in Pink who were hungry for victory after settling for runners up last year.

The Modus Challenge Cup trophy was presented by Roger Marshall (Modus Creative Managing Director) and Worcester Warriors Matt Powell and Charlie Fellows – who is an ex-King’s pupil.
