‘Why The Whistle Went’ fans evening

Supporters can learn ‘Why the Whistle went’ when Worcester Warriors hosts a special event at Sixways Stadium on Wednesday, March 18.

This event will be run as a seminar, where discussion on the game is simulated by the showing of 20 to 30 video clips featuring interesting and controversial incidents from this year’s Six Nations matches.

The impact of the new Experimental Law Variations (ELVs) has had in the Northern hemisphere will also be debated.

On the platform there will be a panel, consisting of Hugh Watkins, Warriors Consultant Referee, Chris Horsman and Ben Jones and chaired by Mike Mortimer.

The panel will give their points of view on the incidents screened and answer questions from the floor.

It is expected that this seminar will run for approximately two and a half hours, including a comfort break, starting at 7.30pm and ending approximately 10.30pm

The bar will be open and the evening will include chilli and rice all for just £5 per head
