Warriors stars set for Touch Rugby

The stars from Sixways Stadium will tonight (Wednesday) take a step into the world of coaching and management when they all appear at the Summer Touch Rugby competition.

Members of the first team squad from Worcester Warriors have all this evening been assigned to a team competing in the three leagues of the Summer Touch rugby competition at Sixways Stadium.

This means that each team will have a star from the Warriors helping to manage and coach them before each fixture.

The likes of Chris Latham, Rico Gear and Matt Mullan will all be on hand with their designated teams to help pass on any tips and answer any questions – plus sign some autographs!

If teams can arrive around about 15 to 20 minutes before their scheduled fixture and register with Harry Orgee, Simon Lane or any of the referees – who will wearing the Warriors pink rugby shirts – they will then be passed over to their chosen player.

Harry Orgree, Community Coach at Warriors, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to meet some of the star Worcester Warrior players and take in first hand some of their experiences and knowledge.

“The summer Touch Rugby competition has been a huge success and tonight will be a real special occasion with so many of the players on hand to help out.”
