Season opener moved for Sky Sports

Worcester Warriors has announced that the club’s opening league game of the Guinness Premiership season against Northampton Saints has been moved back 24 hours and will now be screened live on Sky Sports on Sunday, September 6 (kick-off 1.15pm).

For the second successive season Warriors league trip to Franklin’s Gardens on the opening weekend of the campaign will be shown around the globe, after Sky today revealed full details of its coverage over the opening ten rounds.

Warriors have also confirmed that the home clash with Bath Rugby at Sixways Stadium in Round Eight has now been moved forward in November.

Mike Ruddock’s men will now entertain Bath Rugby 24 hours earlier on Friday, November 20 with an 8pm kick-off so the game can be screened live on television.
