Unwrapped – Warriors launch new kit

Worcester Warriors is today pleased to officially unveil the new-look home, away and training kit for the 2009/10 campaign.

The exciting new Warriors kit has been carefully designed by new official kit provider Cotton Traders and boasts exceptional quality, design and technology. The kit features the latest in technical fabrics allowing the players to keep cool and also offers advanced wicking properties.

The new home jersey blends traditional values with a modern twist as the club plays in a blue, gold and white hooped shirt with the logos of joint main club sponsors npower and FragranceMad.com both featuring.

The away jersey will again be striking red and the training jersey blue with gold trim as Warriors maintain a strong visual dynamic with real attention to detail.

Warriors will don the new kit for the first time during the pre-season campaign, starting against Doncaster Knights on August 14 at Sixways Stadium.

Skipper Pat Sanderson says the players are all looking forward to running out in their new attire.

“We all think the new kit is fantastic and the players have really bought into the modern look with design. Worcester traditionally wore blue jerseys with a gold band and the new-look is a real flash back to those days.

“All the players are looking forward to playing in it and I’m sure the fans will really like it too.”

Kathy Leather, Commercial Director at Warriors, said: “We’ve been delighted with the new home, away and training kit designs and we look forward to building our relationship with Cotton Traders and developing the product range.

“We believe the new kit will be a big hit with supporters and the home design in particular reflects the traditions of the club in a real modern style.”
