Warriors open door to training session Reminder

REMINDER: Worcester Warriors will open its doors TOMORROW as Season Ticket and Debenture holders are invited to an Open Training Session with the first team squad at Sixways Stadium.

Mike Ruddock’s men will giving Season Ticket holders and Debentures an exclusive chance to go behind the scenes and watch a full-on session at the stadium Tomorrow (Tuesday, August 18) starting from 1pm.

Birmingham & Solihull RFC will also be visiting the club on the day to help Warriors with training. The afternoon will provide an informative rugby session for fans to see how the squad warms up and gears up for action ahead of the pre-season trip to Newport Gwent Dragons.

The FREE session, currently taking place on the stadium pitch, is set to include a structured warm-up, live scrummaging and lineout before a full on contact game.

Remember, Warriors will also be hosting a FREE ‘Warriors Open Day’ at Sixways Stadium on Saturday, August 22 – that will also include a pre-season friendly with Ebbw Vale!

The club’s Open Day – that is set to become an annual event in the Sixways calendar – will see the doors at Worcester Warriors flung open for the day to everyone with FREE admission to celebrate the forthcoming 2009/10 Guinness Premiership season.

The special one-day event will provide fans with the first opportunity to meet some of Worcester’s new signings and get to know the players who will become household names over the course of the season.

Entrance is FREE to everyone, so come along, bring a friend, and enjoy a day of family entertainment with the Warriors.
