Sixways Smack Down – Wrestler Profiles

Live American Wrestling hits Sixways on Saturday, October 17 for an evening of great family fun entertainment.

Smack down fever will take over the Indoor Centre for a fun packed two-hour display of pure wrestling mania.

The show starts at 4.30pm and food will be available for those wanting to eat before the show from 1.30pm in the Sixways Hallmark Suite. Food is priced at £8 for Adults and £4 for children.

Wrestling Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults and £6 for Under 14’s. Tickets are on sale NOW.

Danny ‘Boy’ Collins –
Collins made his professional debut in 1983 against Adrian Finchh before going on to be a regular star of ITV’s World of Sportt programme. He has gone on to have a successful wrestling career in the United Kingdom and all over Europe despite an operation to have his kidney removed in the mid-1980s, using a high-flying style in his matches that was unusual for British wrestling at the time.
After World of Sport ended in 1988, he achieved even greater success defeating Mark “Rollerball’ Rocco to win the British Heavy-Middleweight Championship in 1990 and Owen Hart for the World Middleweight Championship in 1991. He still appears regularly on the British wrestling scene to this day.

Johnny Saint –
A Icon in our sport, During June 1958, Johnny Saint was defeated by Colin McDonald in Saint’s debut match.
On May 5, 1973, Johnny Saint wrestled Jim Breaks for the British Lightweight Championship. Saint lost in the 5th round due to referee stoppage, due to a laceration on his forehead.
On November 3, 1976 Johnny Saint would be featured in the World of Sport in England, though was underrated in America due to his strait-laced attitude to wrestling. Since then Johnny has gone on to prove the american wrestling fans wrong by stepping it up a notch to tangle with the stars of the state side fight game in the tag team world grand prix tournament.
Johnny is famed for his tours of Japan where he became a true wrestling legend, Opponents should look out for his world famous Johnny Saint ball a move he performs to confuse foes. Known as the master of 1000 holds

‘Mr Smooth’ Johnny Kidd –
The current Dutch champion, Johnny Kidd debuted in the Golden Era of pro wrestling and has tangled with all the stars of UK Light weight grappling. Since World of Sport came off TV in 1988 and revolutionised by American action Kidd has started to use lightning fast drop kicks to keep opponents off balance. Kidd who often travels to Germany for the huge Catch Wrestling tournaments often appears at ‘Legends’ shows due to his high regard in the sport.
