Jones all set for comeback in Wales

Fly half Matthew Jones is set to make his long awaited comeback for Worcester Warriors A when they travel to Cross Keys to face Newport Gwent Dragons A in a friendly on Wednesday night (kick-off 7.30pm).

Jones has been out of action since injuring his foot against local rivals Gloucester in April but has been named on the replacements bench for the trip to Wales.

Warriors send a side full of Academy talent with Greg King, Michael Penn, Joe Carlisle and Ollie Frost among the backs who have tasted senior experience this season.

Dynamic flanker David Askew will captain the team and joins the likes of Matt Cox and Will Bowley in the pack.
Fans travelling to game are advised the match takes place at Pandy Park (SatNav checker – NP11 7BS)
