Mullan jets to Portugal with England

Worcester Warriors prop Matt Mullan has jetted out to Portugal as part of the England Senior EPS squad as the preparations begin for the opening game of the 2010 RBS 6 Nations against Wales on Saturday, February 6.

The England squad will be based at the Browns training complex on the Algarve where the squad trained last year and which was also used as a training camp by the England U20 squad last month.

The squad will depart Portugal on Friday before reconvening at the Pennyhill Park Hotel on Sunday night.

Mullan has been called up as injury cover for Andrew Sheridan and on arrival in Portugal the Senior England EPS were medically assessed and reviewed.

England Team Manager Martin Johnson has confirmed that Steve Borthwick of Saracens will captain the team.
