Boss calls for Sixways wall of sound

Boss Mike Ruddock has called on supporters to crank up the volume and create a Sixways wall of sound when the Warriors face Newcastle Falcons in a huge Guinness Premiership game tonight (Friday, kick-off 8pm).

Warriors are hunting a big league win and Director of Rugby Ruddock believes fan power can play a big part in inspiring his team to crucial league points.

“Every game for us at home now is a cup final and we need the fans to be nice and loud and very vocal,” said Ruddock.

“We need them to make those 50-50 decisions go our way, which has not been the case of late. If the line outs are not straight we need the crowd to let the referee know.

“The Sixways crowd has been fantastic this season and we really need that support on the run in, the team will need every lift and every piece of good play applauded and backed at all times.

“It’s at times like these that we expect the team to give fans something to shout about – in return we will be most grateful if the supporters really turned up the volume and made it another special Sixways atmosphere.”

Clear your lungs and make sure you are heard tonight! Tickets remain on sale for the big Guinness Premiership clash with Newcastle Falcons!
