Double Welsh test set for pre-season

Worcester Warriors will face Welsh giants Llanelli Scarlets and Newport Gwent Dragons in pre-season as the club prepares for the new Championship season.

Richard Hill’s men will kick-off preparations on Saturday, August 14 when they face National Division One side Stourbridge RFC at Sixways Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

The opening game of the pre-season programme will form part of the club’s annual ‘Warriors Open Day’ with FREE admission to all supporters. Further details of the Open Day will be announced in the coming weeks.

Three days later the Warriors will once again be in action on home soil as we welcome Newport Gwent Dragons to Sixways Stadium on Tuesday, August 17 (kick-off 7.30pm).

Season Ticket and Debenture holders gain FREE admission to the pre-season game with Dragons as part of the new package.

All further ticketing details for the Dragons game – including when tickets go on general sale – will be announced at a later date on www.warriors.co.uk

The final game of a three-match warm-up period will see Warriors hit the road for an away clash at Llanelli Scarlets on Saturday, August 21 (kick-off 3pm).
