Warriors hit high notes at singing contest

The more musical members of the Worcester Warriors recently took to the stage and hit the high notes as they took part in the charity singing contest, Last Choir Standing Corporate Event 2010, at Malvern Theatres.

Adam Black, Kai Horstmann, Tom Arscott, Rob Higgitt, Chris Fortey, Alex Crockett, Miles Benjamin, Will Bowley and Willie Walker all swapped boots for a bow tie to compete in the charity sing-off to raise funds for blood cancer charity, Leukaemia CARE.

The corporate singing event, which took place on November 4 at the Forum, Malvern Theatres, raised the target of £10,000.

Also joining in the fun were choirs representing Ballard Dale Syree Watson, Fort Royal Community Primary School, King Charles 1 School, Leukaemia CARE, Malvern Theatres, Postcode Anywhere, Thursfields Solicitors and the Worcestershire Ambassadors – who included Commercial Director Kathy Leather from Warriors!

The players from Warriors did not take home the top award but did receive the bravery award after belting out two tunes to the audience!
