Wintry weather hits rugby schedule

Supporters are advised that the annual Modus Challenge Cup – between King’s Worcester and RGS Worcester – due to take place this Wednesday night at Sixways Stadium has been postponed.

Upon reviewing the weather forecasts for the next two weeks, and in view of the fact that the stadium pitch is currently frozen, the decision has been made to postpone the fourth annual game between the two city schools until a later date. All tickets will remain valid for any rearranged date.

Worcester fans are also advised that the Warriors A game at Cardiff Blues A due to take place tonight (Monday) at the Cardiff Arms Park in the Welsh capital is also postponed.

Fans are asked to continue to monitor ahead of our scheduled home games with Northampton Wanderer in the Aviva A League (Monday, December 6) and Newport in the British & Irish Cup (Saturday, December 11) for any further updates.
