Gillies looking forward to being Santa

Worcester Warriors lock, Craig Gillies is looking forward to attending the Leukaemia CARE Santa Love Run event on Sunday (February 20) along with his wife Tina and their two children.

The Gillies family will be attending the event at Sixways Stadium – the home of Worcester Warriors – not only to support the locally based Blood and Lymphatic cancer charity, but to take part in the 5k fun run, enjoy the live band and buffet, as well as having a browse around the numerous craft stalls. Tina Gillies will herself be having a stall at the event with her Natural Health Care products.

Leukaemia CARE is a small national charity committed to supporting anyone affected by a diagnosis of Blood or Lymphatic Cancer. The charity was devastated when they had to postpone last years Santathon due to the adverse weather conditions. They are however excited about the all new, re-named Santa Love Run and have high hopes it will generate much needed funds for the charity.

Craig quoted: “Leukaemia CARE hosts' a variety of unique events and the Santa Love Run is just another example of a fun way to get involved and support a great cause. I am looking forward to seeing hundreds of Santa's dashing around the stadium in February. My children are excited about the day and what a great way to kick start the half term break.”

A Party Ticket for day, including entry to the run, a Santa suit and buffet lunch costs £20 for adults (£10 for children under 16). To enter the run only, including a Santa suit cost £10 for adults (£5 for children under 16), or for a buffet only ticket it is £10 for adults (£5 for children under 16).
