Williams to make A League comeback

Scrum half Andy Williams is set for his playing comeback as Worcester Warriors A travel to Leicester Tigers for an Aviva A League match at Welford Road tonight (kick-off 7.30pm).

Williams has been out of action since injuring his wrist in the British & Irish Cup game with Plymouth Albion in January, but is named among the replacements for the trip to the East Midlands.

Worcester name a side with plenty of first team experience as Willie Walker starts the game at fly half and Oriol Ripol and Tom Arscott line up in the back line.

Centre Rob Higgitt will captain the side and is joined in midfield by England Under-20 Grand Slam hero Andy Short.

Callum Black, Ed Shervington and Oliver Tomaszczyk will pack down in the front row while Will Bowley will play alongside Nile Dacres in the second row.
