King Kev crowned at Awards Dinner

Rising star Matt Kvesic completed a sensational breakthrough season at Sixways as he was named Young Player-of-the-Year at the End of Season Awards.

Kvesic has impressed for both club and country as he helped England Under-20s achieve Six Nations glory and made 13 appearances, scoring five tries, as Warriors won promotion back to the Aviva Premiership.

“Matt is a very good product of our Academy system,” said Head Coach Richard Hill. “I like players that work hard on their skills and work hard on the basics and Matt certainly does that.

“I could only wish that all players shared his level of technical ability and it is testament to the Academy system at Sixways that he is such a fantastic and professional attitude.

“He is very mature for someone who is only 19-years-old and understands what it takes to be a professional rugby player. Matt knows what he wants, where he wants to go and is a very driven young man.”
