Warriors Open Day – Free Entry!

The doors at Sixways will once again fling open for FREE this weekend as the annual ‘Warriors Open Day’ takes place on Saturday (August 27) – and the special event will also include our final pre-season friendly with Cornish Pirates.

The club’s Open Day has attracted thousands of visitors over the past two years and ahead of our return to the Aviva Premiership we are once again inviting everyone to come along and enjoy a memorable day with us!

The day kicks off at 12 noon with the real draw for many the chance to meet the stars before the league season kick-offs seven days later against Sale Sharks. Special meet the player sessions will again take place so you can grab autographs and chat with the Warriors.

There will also be the exclusive chance for fans to take guided behind-the-scenes stadium tours and plenty of activities for children, including the Dizzy Heights challenge, animal displays and activities run by our Community team.

The highlight of the day will see Warriors take on Cornish Pirates on the stadium pitch in a pre-season game that kicks off at 5.00pm.

“Our annual Open Day is a highlight of the pre-season calendar at Sixways and we once again invite families and all our fans, young and old, to come visit us and enjoy a whole host of events and activities,” said Charlie Little, Managing Director at Warriors.

“This is a great chance for fans to meet and get autographs off the players and backroom team before we complete our final pre-season preparations with what is sure to be an exciting game against the Cornish Pirates on the stadium pitch.

“It is a big year for the Warriors as we celebrate our return to the Aviva Premiership and we want all our fans to come and join us the weekend before the big kick-off as we open the doors for free for a day of family entertainment.”
