Worcester Warriors have confirmed that centre Sione Tu’ipulotu has made a return to former club Plymouth Albion on a loan agreement.
The Tongan international, who can play any position from scrum-half to full-back, spent two seasons at Albion and was their player of the year last term at Brickfields before he was signed by Warriors last summer.
The 33-year-old has featured in three games for Warriors this season, most recently against Bucharest Wolves in Romania in December.
Head Coach Richard Hill said: “It’s important that all our players get game time and so Sione will go to Plymouth and do just that. There is potential for other players within the squad to do the same and we will be exploring that in the coming weeks.”
