Wing wonder Miles Benjamin has called on Worcester fans to make a wall of noise and get Sixways ‘rocking’ when they face Newcastle Falcons on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
Warriors have enjoyed a strong campaign under the floodlights and have already beaten Northampton Saints, Bath Rugby and Saracens and pushed London Wasps all the way.
Benjamin is keen for Warriors to pick up where they left off after a thrilling home win over champions Saracens at the end of February.
And he revealed the importance of a packed out and passionate crowd as Worcester look to claim a vital league win.
“Friday nights are always a good atmosphere here at Sixways. We get good crowds in and it would be brilliant to see a packed out ground this week and get the place rocking,” said Benjamin.
“We have performed well under the lights this season, we took a big scalp in Saracens in our last league game and we hope to pick up where we left off against a strong Falcons side who will come here and give it everything.
“It’s good to be in a situation when the crowd expect. You can sense that they feel we can win at home and they get right behind us. The crowd don’t stop cheering and you really get the sense that you are at home.
“I have got three home games left, if selected, and I want to savour all of them. I have really enjoyed every moment of my six years here and you want to go out on as big a high as possible.”
