Hill calls for big send-off for Sixways legends

Head Coach Richard Hill has called for Warriors to finish the home season on a high when they face London Irish on Saturday (kick-off 3pm) and give a fitting send-off to legends from Sixways.

Hill has revealed Kai Horstmann and Dale Rasmussen will leave the club at the end of the season and so they will play their final game at Sixways with other centurions at the club such as Chris Fortey, Miles Benjamin and Marcel Garvey also set to say farewell.

The Warriors boss has encouraged fans to come out in huge numbers and give the long-serving players a massive ovation on the day as he looks for his team to turn on the style.

“We have just got to work out what we are going to do in terms of selection, but it would be lovely if we could give them a good send-off,” he revealed.

“I hope as many people as possible can come to the game at the weekend and show their respects to Dale, Kai and other players who are leaving this year.

“We are in the process of working out how best to do that, but I want to make sure that these players get the best possible chance to goodbye and thank you to the supporters.”
