Kooga signs long-term deal with Warriors

Worcester Warriors have agreed a four-year deal, commencing with the 2012/13 season, which will see Kooga become the club’s new Official Kit Partner.

Kooga are firmly established as the manufacturer of choice for leading rugby teams across the globe and currently name the likes of Australia, Melbourne Rebels, ACT Brumbies, Ospreys, Gloucester Rugby and the Bradford Bulls among many other clients.

The exciting new deal will see Kooga supply all of the Warriors match day and training kit as well as offering an extensive range of replica kit and training wear at exceptional value for the club’s supporters.

Charlie Little, Managing Director at Worcester Warriors, said: “We are delighted to sign this deal with such an exciting and dynamic brand as Kooga and look forward to working closely with them and developing our partnership over the coming years.

“Kooga have a superb track record in both rugby union and rugby league across the world and we anticipate this being thestart of a strong relationship.

“We would also like to thank Cotton Traders for their work with Warriors over the last three seasons. When we were aware we were coming to the end of that deal we went out to the marketplace and a number of leading companies wanted to work with Warriors. However, we were immediately excited by what Kooga offered, an established rugby brand that is are aligned to a number of top teams across the world.”

Warriors can also confirm that three new playing kits for the 2012/13 season will be unveiled in the coming months.

“We will have two strips to wear in the Aviva Premiership and are also introducing a third kit which we plan to wear in cup competitions,” added Little.

“When we’ve introduced new kits for Sevens competitions in the past it has proven to be very popular with supporters and so we have tried to continue that theme with Kooga. It will be a different look to our traditional home jersey and one we are excited about.

“I’m sure supporters will enjoy the full range of kit, leisurewear and services and offers available with Kooga.”
