Warriors forge link with partner clubs

Over the years, Worcester Warriors have had close links with numerous rugby clubs across the region and we are delighted to announce that a new partner club agreement is now in place.

This agreement allows all partners to build a relationship for a mutual benefit and Warriors have looked to engage and support the rugby clubs in various areas.

One way Warriors is aiming to support other clubs is through coaching. We also discuss clubs’ position and look to assist by developing better links between clubs and schools.

The Warriors Community team visit these clubs throughout the season, working with the nominated age-group on specific themes.

Clubs are invited to send coaches to each of the Warrior coach education evenings, to further build on their knowledge, thus gaining valuable information which they can take back to their clubs.

Community Rugby Manager Steve Joslin said: “We’re really pleased to be able to support other clubs through this partner clubs link.

“We hope our input makes a difference to these clubs and that they value their relationship with us.

“We hope to see more young players and their families at Sixways this season to watch matches which hopefully will inspire them to be the next great star, so these links will benefit everyone.”

If your club would like more information about becoming a partner of Worcester Warriors Rugby Club, please contact Steve on 07538389302 or email steve.joslin@warriors.co.uk.
