Warriors prop Matt Mullan will join up with the England squad at St George’s Park tonight as cover for Joe Marler (tight hamstring).
Mullan has played every minute of Aviva Premeirship action this season and was named Warriors captain for the victory over Sale Sharks last Friday.
A product of the Warriors academy, he made his one hundreth appearance for Warriors as a substitute against Femi-CZ VEA Rovigo in the Amlin Challenge Cup clash earlier this month.
He is currently part of the England Saxons EPS and represented the England Under 20s in the 2007 Six Nations campaign.
England squad members Courtney Lawes and Dylan Hartley of Northampton Saints will have scans on knee injuries this evening and a further update of their progress will be given at Stuart Lancaster’s 5pm briefing tomorrow.
