Acorns Ambassador Perry shows off charity shirt

Warriors’ Acorns Ambassador Shaun Perry was in the Sixways Store yesterday as he modelled this season’s charity shirt.

The scrum-half, who is currently recovering from injury, took time out of his rehabilitation schedule to show fans how the shirt will look when the players where it for their Christmas clash against London Welsh.

He said: “This season's shirt looks really good and it will be brilliant to see all our supporters wearing one.

“The money raised from shirt sales will go to two fantastic causes so I would encourage our fans to ring up and buy one.”

Now in its third year, the Warriors charity shirt has been raising vital funds for both the Warriors Foundation and Acorns Children's Hospice.

This year’s shirt has been designed by our players with Acorns children in mind.  The handprint shirt bears actual prints from a host of Warriors players, including Perry.  These prints are accompanied by Acorns children’s handprints.

The shirts will be worn by the players during the match against London Welsh on Friday 21 December, where Richard Hill's men will be looking for their fourth consecutive Aviva Premiership victory at Sixways.

Adult shirts are £55 and children’s are £40. To place an order please call us on 01905 459309 now.
