Goode breaks Warriors points scoring record

Fly half Andy Goode has become the leading points scorer in the professional era for Worcester Warriors after tonight eclipsing the previous best to take his place at the Sixways summit.

Goode started the Aviva Premiership game against Sale Sharks five points behind Shane Drahm in the all-time points scoring charts for Warriors.

But his 17-point haul – and key penalty on 11 minutes that took him on the night to 727 points – means he now stands at the top as the highest points scorer in the club’s history.

The only other player currently playing for Warriors who features in the top ten is Joe Carlisle, who recently took third place overall from former fly half James Brown.

Top Warriors Points Scorers:

  1. 738 – Andy Goode
  2. 726 – Shane Drahm
