Match Latest – Transport News & Volunteer Request

Worcester Warriors would like to advise supporters of the following transport information ahead of tomorrow’s game with Bizkaia Gernika – and has appealed for fans to help clear Sixways in the morning of the heavy snow.

Fans making the trip to the game are urged to allow plenty of time to make the journey and that the Park and Ride will be open from County Hall.

The stadium car parks will be open for pre-sold tickets only. Car parks at Sixways are being cleared this evening and once again in the morning.

Buses will run to Sixways tomorrow from County Hall, the city centre and Blackpole Trading Estate.

The Park and Walk will be available tomorrow with Wainwright Road, the butterfly walk and Offerton Lane all being cleared.

Please note, we can only confirm that limited parking will be available on Wainwright Road as this is being cleared. We cannot confirm that private car parks at Siemens, npower, Southco, and Blackpole Trading Estate will be cleared.

Please drive carefully to Sixways and the surrounding area and park in designated places only.

The club is also appealing for volunteers who wish to help assist with snow clearing from the stadium pitch and surrounding areas from 9am tomorrow morning! To offer your services please email brian.ryan@warriors.co.uk and come to main reception with a shovel tomorrow and report to Helen Grayer.

Finally, please wrap up warm, wear sensible shoes to the game and stick to designated and cleared walkways around the stadium complex!
