Students enjoy Amlin Challenge Cup encounter

Students and staff from Regency High School braved the snow last Saturday to watch Warriors’ Amlin Challenge Cup encounter with Bizkaia Gernika RT from one of our hospitality boxes.

The students had been studying different jobs and came to Sixways to have a stadium tour.

Having already visited Sixways to gain an insight into a Premiership rugby club on a non-matchday, the group were given the opportunity to see how the hospitality boxes look on when the club have a game.

Tina Reading, a teacher at Regency High school, said: “We had a fantastic day. It was really well-organised and it was a wonderful experience for everyone.”

For many of the students it was the first time they had watched a rugby match. Student Nick Jones said: “I'd never been to a rugby match before and it was awesome. I enjoyed the lasagne as well.”

Fellow student Ross Hirschfield added that the day was “good fun, with good food.”
