Full back Claassens to leave the Warriors

Worcester Warriors have today confirmed that full back Errie Claassens will leave the club at the end of the current season.

Claassens has made 26 appearances for Warriors, scoring seven tries, since his move to Sixways from London Welsh in 2011.

The South African-born star, the brother of Bath’s South African international scrum half Michael, will move to RFU Championship club Bristol Rugby at the end of the campaign with the best wishes of everyone connected with the Warriors.

Head Coach Richard Hill paid tribute to Claassens and said: “I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Errie for his professionalism and service to us whilst at Warriors.

“Errie has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I know he will give everything in the time he has left at Sixways and will want to finish his time with us on a high.”
