The Worcester Warriors Residential Camps returns to Malvern College this summer and places are being snapped up fast.
Youngsters will spend a week walking in the shoes of Warriors stars such as James Percival, Jonny Arr and Alex Grove, as the camp provides a rigorous rugby and conditioning schedule.
Players will be provided with a taste of what it takes to perform at the highest level in rugby as the programme will involve 20 hours of rugby and will cover aspects of core skills, conditioning and game understanding.
Players will not only learn to evade like David Lemi, pass like Paul Hodgson and tackle like Jake Abbott, but most importantly they will develop their own communication and leadership skills which are vital to professional players.
On top of this, the whole Warriors first-team squad and backroom staff will be present on one of the days to offer position-specific training.
Worcester flanker Matt Kvesic, whose potential was spotted by Warriors coaches when he attended a camp as a youngster, believes the camp is an excellent opportunity for any young player who is serious about rugby.
He said: “The Warriors residential camp was my best experience of rugby when growing up. It was where I was first approached and became part of Worcester Warriors.
“I learned so much about the game and it inspired me to work hard and get to where I am now.”
The first camp runs from Monday 12 to Friday 16 of August and is aimed at 13 to 17-year-olds with a price of £325.
The second camp runs from Monday 19 to Thursday 22 of August and is aimed at 9 to 12-year-olds. The camp costs £275.
