Charlie Little to leave Worcester Warriors

Worcester Warriors can today confirm that Managing Director Charlie Little will leave the club at the end of the month.

Charlie joined the club in the role of General Manager in June 2006. Previously, he had been Marketing Manager and then Commercial Manager at Gloucester Rugby Club.

He was appointed to help oversee the transformation of the Sixways site and to bring his knowledge of commercial sport and the rugby industry to the club whilst also developing the non-rugby business. In 2011 he was promoted to Managing Director.

Anthony Glossop, the Warriors Chairman of the Board said: “Charlie has been a loyal and incredibly hardworking member of our Executive team and in difficult times has overseen the huge transition of the Sixways complex which is unrecognisable to when he arrived. He leaves an indelible mark on the Sixways landscape given that the new road infrastructure, the £8 million Slick Systems Stand and the recent arrival of the very successful David Lloyd Leisure Club have all been successfully delivered under his leadership. We are extremely grateful for his support over the past seven years and for someone with so much of his career ahead of him, we wish him well for the future.

“We have undertaken a thorough and wide-ranging search to find a new CEO. This is well advanced and a further announcement will be made shortly.”
