Former England international lock forward Redman re-joined the coaching team at Warriors in May 2012 for a second spell at Sixways.

Bill Bolsover CBE, the club's Rugby Committee Chairman, said: “Nigel is an experienced and dedicated coach who has worked tirelessly throughout his time at Sixways to develop the forwards.

“However, under the guidance of our new Director of Rugby, we are now looking to appoint a new-look coaching team. I would like to place on record our sincere gratitude to Nigel for all his efforts and wish him well for the future.”

Redman said: “I’ve enjoyed my time at Warriors and thank all the players and staff for their hard work.I believe the club's forwards have developed over the last 12 months and are now playing a more dynamic brand of rugby and scoring more tries.

“Dean has been open and honest with me since his arrival and wants to work with people he knows. I understand that decision and wish the club the very best for the future as I look forward to my next challenge in rugby.”
