Worcester Warriors can today announce that this Friday’s fixture between Plymouth Albion and Worcester Cavaliers has been cancelled.
Due to a high number of injuries sustained in the past week the club are unable to field a strong enough team for matches on two consecutive days.
Fans that have made prior arrangements for accommodation for the match and cannot receive a refund are asked to contact the club at media@warriors.co.uk. .
Warriors Chief Executive Charles Cameron said: “While we are disappointed that we cannot fulfil this fixture, our main focus must be on ensuring the squad are as prepared as they can be for the start of the forthcoming Aviva Premiership campaign.”
